First Bike on Scene (FBoS)

First Bike on Scene (FBoS) is a nationally approved course offering essential lifesaving skills to motorcyclists.  The course is approved by the Quality Casualty Care Alliance and supported by the Motorcycle Industry Association.

 

The FBoS course has been specifically designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed to deal with the initial management of a patient invloved in a road traffic incident (motorcycle collision/crash).

 

Bikers will be encouraged to give casulaties the necessary basic life support in the event of an incident whilst waiting for the emergencey services to arrive.

 

The lessons learned on your FBoS course will help you MAKE A DIFFERENCE should the worst happen.

 

The course is delivered by a highly trained motorcyclist, who has a wide range of experience with the emergency services. The trainer is a former Institute of Advanced Motorists (I.A.M.) examiner for motor cars and motorcycles and runs guided tours to Morocco every year. www.mototours.co.uk

 

The trainer is also involved in medical work within the motorsport sphere, so has experince in dealing with traumatic injuries.
